- Abstract
- To address impellor abrasion and nozzle clogging, a self-cleaning filtration mechanism for irrigation water was designed from locally accessible materials. Back flushing, scrubbing, and scraping were used to remove filter cake. The device was designed using AutoCAD 2007 and SolidWorks 2020, as well as the machine design principle.
