The study’s overarching goal was to look at the impact of digitalization on the performance of Zimbabwe’s digitalized commercial banks. The study was guided by the following specific goal: to understand customer’s perceptions on the advent of new technology in the banking sector, to assess the effects of digitalization on commercial bank performance and to assess the challenges of digitalization on digitalized commercial banks. The descriptive research design was used for this investigation. The study’s audience consisted of senior staff. The 83 respondents were chosen using convenience sampling. The quantitative data was evaluated using descriptive statistics in SPSS and reported as percentages, frequencies, valid percentages and cumulative percentages. The study discovered a substantial association between commercial bank performance and the primary platforms employed in digitalization. The study also found out that increasing the number of units utilized in digitalization will improve commercial bank performance. The study discovered a substantial association between commercial bank performance and digitalization issues. The study also found out that a unit reduction in digitalization difficulties would contribute to an improvement in commercial bank performance. The study revealed a significant relationship between performance of commercial banks and effects of digitalization. The study also established that a unit increase in effects of digitalization would lead to an increase or a decrease in performance of commercial banks.
