The research assessed the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in community development, with a focus on the case of the Higher life Foundation in Bindura, Chipadze. The objectives were; To determine the importance of corporate social through Higher life responsibility in community development; to assess CSR strategies used in undertaking community development and to examine the conditions for CSR to enhance community development in Chipadze through Higher life Foundation. The methods that were employed to collect data was a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative data. Interviews, questionnaires and documentary reviews were employed as methods of collecting data. The research showed that CSR initiatives undertaken by the Higher life Foundation have significantly contributed to the socioeconomic development of the Chipadze community. It assessed several key CSR strategies used by the Higher life Foundation, including targeted investments in education, healthcare, and community infrastructure, as well as collaborative partnerships with local stakeholders and government agencies. The research also found that the success of the Higher life Foundation's conditions for CSR in Chipadze was largely dependent on factors such as strong stakeholder engagement, alignment with community needs, and the Foundation's long-term commitment to the region.
