The aspiration of the inquiry was to conduct an analysis of employee motivation on the success
of an organization at Ecobank Zimbabwe. The importance of an organization powered by
motivated workers cannot be overstated. The study's sample size was thirty-six employees. A
descriptive approach was used for the study. The researcher used first hand data origins such
as questionnaires and interviews, as well as second hand data origins like business
publications and registers, to collect data. Tables, bar graphs and pie charts were used by the
inquirerto present qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Employee motivation wasfound
to have an impact on organizational effectiveness. Ecobank Zimbabwe, as a firm, was less
concerned with employee motivation. Job protection, bonuses, a generous salary, hard work,
advancement and promotion, flexible and satisfactory working conditions, the opportunity to
do creative and imaginative tasks, assignment, and a healthy relationship with supervisors and
co - workers are some of the strategies that Ecobank Zimbabwe can employ to improve the
employee performance. It was found that employee motivation plays a significant role in
increasing organizational effectiveness because it promotes high employee morale, which is
critical for outstanding employee performance. The research advised that workers be involved
in all choices that influence their lives and indicated that Ecobank Zimbabwe management
should prioritize employee motivation in order to keep their financial services in the sector.
