The study sought to ascertain the factors affecting profitability of small to medium
enterprises (SMEs). The researcher was triggered to evaluate the factors affecting small to
medium enterprises due to ongoing lockdowns caused by COVID 19 which is a top-tier
factor affecting profitability. The research further sought to determine the ways that could be
