The purpose of this research was examining and evaluating the influence of corporate size on the financial performance of listed manufacturing companies in Zimbabwe. The target population made by the researcher, for this research currently is 25 listed manufacturing firms in the manufacturing sector in the central business district of Harare (CBD). To add on, these manufacturing firms under this thesis are based on the definition of manufacturing firms which are formally listed and registered. Above all the, researcher decided to choose accountants due to the fact that accountants are the ones responsible for monitoring and preparing company budgets and they are also responsible for monitoring the company's financial performance. The scholar discovered that it takes over a short period of month for most firms to come up with a financial plan and few companies take over a year to complete a financial plan. The study found that 85% of the people responding are in agreement with the fact that the management is involved in the planning process of the organisation. . The research study found that most firms agree that firms hire qualified financial managers to run the organisation’s affairs. Objectives and the scholar concluded that listed companies on stock exchange perform well than those that are not listed and corporate size does affect the financial position of the organisation. The scholar recommended that firms should use international financial models and standards when devising financial plans and also that firms should undertake research and development inorder to develop fruitful strategies that can be ideal in implementation of strategic plans. These regions call attention to further study by researchers: The impact of in international financial models on strategic planning of firms, the effectiveness of research and development in devising strategic plans for the organisations, the relevance of financial consulting agents in devising financial strategic plans for organisations.
