- Abstract
- The main aim of the study was to investigate the impact of corporate social responsibility on organizational financial performance, case study of Freda Rebecca Gold Mine. The objectives of the study were to assess the impact of investing in CSR activities affects financial performance, identify the CSR activities done by Freda Rebecca Gold Mine as well as the significance of those activities. Literature was reviewed in bid to identify the gap between this study and previous studies. A descriptive research design was used for the research. Questionnaires and interviews were used to gather information for the research using a sample from the population of all staff. Microsoft Excel and SPSS was used to present graphs and charts. The findings of the research showed that good corporate social responsibility indeed has an impact on the organizational financial performance. The researcher concluded that corporate social responsibility positively impacts organizational financial performance. The research recommended that all businesses must have a CSR framework and regulatory requirements in their policies, the government should grant annual rewards to companies that focus more on CSR activities and that the government should cut tax paid by companies with a corresponding amount spent on CSR so that corporations can help the community without fear of increasing expenses.
