- Abstract
- This study investigates the effects of green supply chain management (GSCM) practices on the operational performance of Delta Beverages in Zimbabwe. The study used a qualitative research approach and non -random selection sampling technique on a sample of 20 employees from three departments. Data was collected using questionnaires and interviews. The study finds that GSCM positively affects operational performance of Delta Beverage in Zimbabwe. Findings reveal that GSCM practices, contribute to enhanced cost efficiency through process optimization and waste reduction. Further finding proves that challenges such as initial investments, resistance to change, and industry-specific factors underscore the complex landscape of GSCM implementation. The study recommends continuous improvement in GSCM practice, comprehensive employee training, strengthened stakeholder collaboration, and robust monitoring mechanisms.
