This research project is an assesment into the impact of Environmental Management Agency (EMA) in enhancing environmental awareness campaigns in selected schools in Mutare district of Manicaland province The schools are Odzi primary school and Odzi High in Odzi cluster. This qualitative study explores the impact of the Environmental Management Agency (EMA) in enhancing environmental awareness campaigns in selected schools in Mutare District of Manicaland Province, Zimbabwe. Using observation and in-depth interviews, data was collected from two selected schools, three teachers, and 5 EMA officials. The findings reveal that EMA's interventions have positively influenced environmental awareness among students and teachers, promoting behavioral change and community involvement. However, challenges such as inadequate resources, limited teacher training, and insufficient community engagement were identified. The study recommends that EMA strengthens its partnerships with schools, provides regular teacher training, and enhances community involvement in environmental awareness initiatives. This study contributes to the understanding of effective environmental education strategies in Zimbabwe and informs policy and practice in environmental management.
