- Abstract
- The research analyses the effect of supply chain disruption on Delta Beverages' business performance in Zimbabwe. It reveals major disruptions such as delays in transport, power failures, and untrustworthy suppliers, with negative consequences on operational performance as well as profitability. With a sample size of 81 employees, questionnaires were distributed using a quantitative approach, and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) were utilized to process data. Findings show measurable correlations between supply chain disruption and business performance measures. The study also suggests improving the risk management practice by diversifying suppliers, having good relationships, and adopting electronic technologies. Finally, this research supplies practical recommendations for Delta Beverages and similar companies to improve resilience and responsiveness in the volatile economic climate of Zimbabwe.
