- Abstract
- This study examines the impact of technology on the teaching and learning of biology at Mauya Adventist High School. With the increasing integration of digital tools in education this research explores how technological advancements such as interactive software, multimedia resources and online platform influence student engagement comprehension and academic performance in biology. A mixed method approach was employed interviews and classroom observations involving both students and teachers. Preliminary suggests that technology enhances instructional delivery promotes active learning and improves retention of biological concepts. However challenges such as limited access to devices inadequate technical skills and inconsistent internet connectivity were identified as barriers to effective implementation. The study recommends targeted teacher training, increased investment in technological infrastructure and the development of tailored digital content to maximize the benefits of technology in biology education. The outcomes of this research contributes to the broader discourse on educational technology and provides insights for policy makers and educators seeking to optimize technology intergration in science education.
