- Abstract
- This research was conducted at Nyakudya Secondary School in Mazowe District. It was on the impact of technology on students’ achievement in mathematics at form 3 level. The researcher used the qualitative research design under which interviews and questionnaire were employed. The research was conducted over a period of 6 months. The key issues that the researcher sought to unveil were how the use of technology in mathematics affect students’ achievement at Nyakudya Secondary School and how does technology support teacher-student interaction in the mathematics classroom at Nyakudya Secondary School. The study will involve 4 teachers and 30 form 3 students at Nyakudya Secondary School and analysis of data collected from these participants through questionnaires, interviews and observations. The study finding could be used to develop recommendations on how to improve access to technology in remote areas especially rural schools in Mazowe District and other similar settings to enhance the teaching and learning of mathematics.
