The thrust of this study was to better understand the difficulties faced by physics educators when integrating information communication and technology (ICT) into their instruction in rural secondary schools in the Bubi District. The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has called on physics instructors to use ICT to teach physics in all Zimbabwean schools. To help with implementation, the 2016 ICT policy on Education for Primary and Secondary Education in Zimbabwe has also been developed. There are several challenges that have a detrimental outcome on the integration of ICT in the teaching of physics as a result of the various ICT environments and situations in schools. The study also sought to determine how ICT affected physics instruction. The researcher also spoke with physics educators, heads of department in the physics, and school administrators to get insight into the obstacles that prevent ICT integration in the teaching and learning of O’Level physics in Bubi district secondary schools. The basic random sampling technique was used on a sample of the participants. The research tools employed in this study were questionnaires, interviews, and observation. The study's conclusions showed that, despite educators' willingness to incorporate ICT in the teaching of physics, there remain obstacles in their way. As a result, ICT integration is used less frequently in Bubi district Secondary School. These issues include a lack of ICT resources, a lack of ICT proficiency among physics educators and learners, as well as inadequate ICT integration support.
