- Abstract
- The study sought to explore the integration of educational technologies into the Ordinary Level biology teaching and learning activities. Data generation, analysis and discussion were grounded in an Interprevist paradigm and qualitative approach. The five who formed the sample were purposively selected. From the findings it was noted that numerous educational technologies (mobile phones, personal computers, simulations, virtual laboratories, among others) were integrated into Ordinary Level Biology teaching and learning activities. It can be acknowledged that teachers were prepared through seminars, workshops and teacher capacity development programme to integrate educational technologies into Ordinary Level Biology teaching and learning. It was revealed that educational technologies were integrated into Ordinary Level Biology teaching and learning through approaches such as PBL, Projectbased learning, design-based learning, etc. From the findings, it can be concluded that educational technologies to a certain were integrated into Ordinary Level Biology teaching and learning. Based on the findings, it can be recommended that the school should incorporate adaptive learning algorithms to cater for individual differences and deliver customized learning experiences, which are tailored to the unique needs of the individual learner.
