In an era where data security is paramount, organizations face increasing threats from
unauthorized information disclosure, commonly referred to as data leakage. This paper presents a robust Data Leakage Detection System designed to identify and mitigate instances of sensitive data exfiltration. The system employs a combination of user behavior analytics, watermarking techniques, and rule-based monitoring to trace the origin of leaked data and pinpoint responsible entities. By integrating machine learning algorithms with real-time alert mechanisms, the system enhances detection accuracy while minimizing false positives. Experimental results demonstrate its effectiveness in diverse operational environments, offering a scalable and proactive solution for safeguarding confidential information. This research contributes to the field of cybersecurity by proposing a practical framework that balances detection precision with operational efficiency. - Date
