Determining the function of media and technology in biology education at the ordinary level and assessing the extent of media and technology use in biology are among the study's particular goals. Data for the study were gathered through key informant interviews and questionnaires. A descriptive analysis was carried out to describe the degree of media and technology use, its functions in teaching and learning, and the effectiveness of learners utilizing media and technology in biology classes. The study's conclusions are as follows: using media and technology to teach and learn biology results in significant learning gains that are much stronger intellectually; as such, it is critical that all students use media and technology in this day and age of education in accordance with international standards. The main issue with employing media and technology in biology education and learning was considered to be the inadequate availability of computers. The study's recommendations are as follows: in order to better assist individuals with computers, more media and technological resources should be sourced in Mutare for educational purposes. Biology also provides solar power systems and generators to reduce the risk of a power outage. There is a critical need to raise the subject's pass rate with trained teachers, who can help students embrace media and technology in general and flourish in the topic by utilizing specialized monitoring systems that adhere to international educational standards.
