The study for the Intelligent Digital Library System it outlined the transition from traditional libraries to digital platforms, identified limitations such as poor search efficiency and lack of personalisation. To sum up, a critical reviewed existing digital library systems and related research was established. It examined current approaches to classification, search, personalisation, and secure access, highlighting gaps such as inadequate metadata quality, reliance on keyword search, and minimal use of artificial intelligence.Functional requirements included user authentication, intelligent classification, semantic search, personalised recommendations, read-only access, and temporary offline access. Non-functional requirements addressed performance, usability, scalability, and security. Use cases, user scenarios, and system constraints were also defined. It described the programming environment, tools, and frameworks used. Implementation of core modules included authentication, classification, search, personalisation, read-only access, and offline access. Integration of components was achieved through modular APIs, while challenges such as data set limitations, semantic search latency, and DRM compliance were addressed.
