This research aims to explore the effectiveness of dynamic mathematical software in enhancing the instruction of trigonometry in four secondary schools in Mutorashanga cluster in Zvimba district. The project employed qualitative research approach. A sample of 40 high school learners was taken from the four selected schools and given questionnaires. A sample of 10 mathematics teachers were interviewed. The qualitative data was analysed to identify patterns and themes in learners and teacher’s responses. The expected outcomes of this research project include insights into effectiveness of dynamic mathematical software in facilitating learners understanding of trigonometric concepts. From the recurring patterns of responses and themes of responses from learners and teachers, it was concluded that the dynamic mathematical software did have a significant and positive effect on learners learning, understanding and outcomes. The recommendations set were that, teachers should consider integrating dynamic mathematical software into the teaching of mathematics, and there is need for the provision of teacher development. The findings of this study will contribute to the existing body of research on instructional methods in mathematics education specifically in the context of trigonometry. The results will inform curriculum developers, educators and policy makers on potential benefits of incorporating dynamic mathematical software in the instruction of trigonometry.
