The study found that women's self-help groups have had a positive impact on the livelihoods of single mothers in Ruwa community, improving their access to financial services, increasing their income and economic empowerment, and enhancing their social well-being and self-esteem. The study recommends that women's self-help groups be supported and scaled up in Ruwa community, as a strategy for improving the livelihoods of single mothers and promoting women's empowerment.
