- Implementation of secure VPN over an open network infrastructure: a case study of Champions Insurance Company
- Abstract
- This research has aimed to address critical challenges of security and connectivity faced by the organization. The project is aiming to provide a secure and reliable way to connect remote sites, branch offices, and mobile workers to the central network. The VPN solution is to provide a robust and secure communication infrastructure, enabling the organization to transmit sensitive data securely and reliably. The system design involves creating a robust and user-friendly platform using Streamlit and Python. The architecture begins with a user interface developed in Streamlit, providing Champions Insurance’s employees with an intuitive dashboard to interact with the system. Within this interface, users can send information, which is then encrypted by cryptography algorithms implemented in Python using libraries like NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit). The research project focuses on harnessing the power of Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies, particularly using Streamlit and Python, to create a comprehensive tool for implementing a secure VPN. In conclusion, our research highlights the importance of implementing Virtual Private Network for a company with offices in different geographical locations. By implementing a secure VPN connection for Champions Insurance Company, employees can now securely transmit data mitigating risks associated with data breaches and unauthorized access.
