Investigating the synergistic effect of Gowa soil (Alkaline Salt) and clay mixtures on ceramic filters for the removal of Methyl orange from water
- Abstract
-
This dissertation aims to examine the synergistic effect of Gowa soil, an alkaline salt, when mixed with clay used to make ceramic filters, on the efficiency of removing methyl orange, a common textile dye, from water. The study will explore the impact of incorporating Gowa soil into clay mixtures and its influence on the filtration and adsorption properties of ceramic filters. By investigating the combined effect of Gowa soil and clay, this research intends to
provide valuable insights into the development of enhanced ceramic filter materials for
effective water treatment and dye removal. - Date
