The persistence in digital inclusion in the teaching and learning of chemistry at Mahusekwa High School has positively affected the students’ performance results. The study is imbedded on an interpretive paradigm that adopts a qualitative approach. A case study was adopted as a research design enabled the researcher to have a deeper inquiry from participants in their natural setting. Purposive sampling technique facilitated the selection of information rich cases. The sample consisted of teachers, admin-staff and chemistry students. Semi-structured face to face interviews were used to collect data from the school head, and the head of science department, and focus group interviews for the chemistry students. Collected data was
thematically analyzed. The study concludes that ICT adoption is a persistent issue that has a great the impact on learning and teaching of chemistry in rural schools. Students’ results are depreciating from time to time for various reasons including; digital exclusion, limited accessibility and network connection, school with limited technical support, lack of effective training, limited time on digital tools, and lack of teachers’ competency. The study also identified a number of positive impact of effective learning and teaching of chemistry. Effective digitalization in the learning and teaching of chemistry has a lot of benefits for those within the organisation including; improving the quality of teaching and learning, enhancing critical thinking in problem solving, enhancing innovation in academic
applications development, and increasing parental and student participation, digital inclusion
offers flexibility, interactivity and alternative studies, effective strategies for digital inclusion in rural schools. The success of all schools is on its ability to continually produce best results. Earning good digitalized education is important to a schools because student’s results are improved through
