This study explored the role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in enhancing the teaching and learning of Mathematics at Grade 7 level. The study employed a mixed research approach which utilized a descriptive research design. The sample of the study included thirty Grade 7 learners and five Grade 7 teachers and an Administrator. Questionnaires and interviews research instruments were used to collect the required information. The collected data were analysed by employing descriptive statistics. The findings revealed that the integration of ICT was very important in the implementation of the educational curriculum. The integration of ICT in mathematics education aims to improve student engagement, motivation, and understanding of mathematical concepts. The study highlights the strategic use of technology in teaching
and learning mathematics, focusing on the effective integration of digital tools in the classroom. The findings suggest that ICT can significantly enhance the learning experience by providing interactive and engaging learning materials, promoting collaborative learning, and enhancing teacher-student interaction. The study emphasizes the importance of teacher training and support in integrating ICT effectively into the classroom, ensuring a positive impact on student learning and achievement. The results indicate that ICT integration can lead to improved student outcomes, particularly in areas such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and spatial reasoning. The study concludes that ICT integration in mathematics education at Grade 7 level can be a powerful tool in enhancing student learning and achievement, and it is essential to provide teachers with the necessary training and resources to effectively integrate ICT into their teaching practices. The study recommends teacher training support, curriculum development, provision of digital resources, construction of classroom infrastructure, monitoring and evaluation and parental involvement for effective ICT integration in the teaching and learning of Mathematics at Grade 7 level - Date
