The effectiveness of blended learning strategy on teaching of Combined Science among Kushinga Secondary School learners in Mutoko District is an area that’s warrants an investigation. While they may not be specific research on the direct on blended learning strategy at Kushinga Secondary school, broader trends and potential benefits of this approach to science education. A mixed approach was employed, was used both quantitative and qualitative data collection analysis methods. The study involved 20 learners and 2 teachers randomly selected from the school. The findings revealed a significant improvement in learner achievement, motivation and critical thinking skills among the blended learning group compared to the traditional teaching approach. The results also showed a positive correlation blended learning and learner engagement with learners showing increased interest and participation in science lessons. The
qualitative data highlighted the benefits of blended learning including flexibility, personalization and access to diverse learning resources. However challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, technical issues and teacher training needs were also identified. The findings have an implication for effective integration of blended learning in combined science teaching and learning and provides insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers seeking to enhance science education in secondary schools - Date
