- Abstract
- The relationship between employee voice and employee satisfaction is a topic of growing importance in organizational research practice. The aim of the study is to assess the relationship between employee voice and employee satisfaction, the case of Freda Rebecca Gold Mine. Using a quantitative research approach, the study collected data from a sample of 40 FRGM employees through a structured survey. The survey instrument measured various aspects of employee voice, including employee voice mechanisms and the effect of demographic factors, such as age, gender and job level. The findings of the study revealed a positive correlation between employee voice and employee satisfaction. Employees whose voices are heard also exhibited greater overall satisfaction, demonstrating improved motivation and increased engagement. Conversely, employees whose voices are suppressed experience more negative outcomes including poor moral. Based on the findings, the study presents a comprehensive set of recommendations for Freda Rebecca Gold Mine to address issues concerning employee voice and satisfaction needs of its workforce. These recommendations include the regular reviews on employee voice mechanisms, and the provision of training programs.
