Total Rewards Management (TRM) is a comprehensive approach that coordinates and controls all facets of employee benefits and compensation, including monetary and non-monetary incentives, in order to attract, inspire, and retain staff. Examining how total reward management affected the organizational performance of Bindura Municipality in Bindura, Zimbabwe, was the aim of this study. The following particular objectives served as the study's guidelines:
• To explore how a comprehensive total reward system can boost employee motivation and engagement,
• To assess the relationship between total reward management practises and various performance metrics
• To provide evidence-based recommendations for human resource management practices, helping organizational design and implement total reward systems that align with their goals and enhance overall organizational performance
Both quantitative and qualitative methods were used in the study's descriptive research design. 70 employees from four council departments finance, works, health, and housing were polled for the study using a self-administered questionnaire. A few employees were also interviewed. Descriptive statistics (WPS) were used to analyse the data, and the results were displayed as pie charts, frequency distribution tables, and histograms. The study's conclusions demonstrated that Bindura Municipality uses a variety of reward management strategies, all of which were essential in inspiring staff members. Nevertheless, the findings indicated that workers were dissatisfied with the present benefit plans and that the pay scale was thought to be excessively low and did not account for the cost of living in Bindura City.
