- Flipping of ordinary level physics classroom using digital learning platforms: an investigation into the challenges encountered by secondary schools in Gweru.
- Abstract
- This study examines flipping of physics classroom using digital learning platforms. The traditional lecture-based approach in physics education has been criticized for its ineffectiveness in promoting deep understanding and engagement. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of flipped classrooms, digital learning platforms, and active learning strategies in improving student learning outcomes, particularly in terms of understanding complex concepts and developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The study employed a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis methods. The findings provide insights for instructors, educators, and policymakers on how to improve student learning outcomes and engagement in physics education.
