- Abstract
- The project objective was to develop a comprehensive mathematical model that describes and optimizes the production of liquid detergent therefore the model that was developed was linear programming .The model simulates how formulation parameters and process conditions influence final product quality and it also predicts the mixing time .This model is developed based on production constrains such as resource availability, labour and machine time .The model is solved using LINDO this model enables resource utilization ,sensitivity analysis .The model developed is user friendly interface easy to input models using algebraic notation ,its ideal for students and researchers new optimization .The model solves complex models handles large scale linear ,integer ,nonlinear and stochastic models efficiently .LINDO is fast and reliable solvers built in solvers use advanced simplex and interior point methods. It delivers quick solution even with multiple variable and constraints. The model is a sensitivity analysis it provide post solution reports on shadow price allowable ranges and resource utilization.
